Focusing on Standing Desk Quality

The Advance Leads The Way

1

Computer aided leg design

Standing desks need extremely well designed legs which prevent wobble but also permit smooth movement of the desk. Gostand uses 2.25mm thick automotive grade seamless extruded tube to manufacture our legs making them class leading in terms of strength and durability. We use commputer aided design for all the components within the standing desk leg to ensure they all have a sufficient margin of safety and the correct material choice has been made.

2

4 Position Memory and USB

There is nothing more annoying than having to try and re-find your optimum standing and sitting desk height every time you move your desk. At Gostand we know this. That is why all our desks come with pre-programmable memory buttons so with a touch of the button you can return to your favourite height be it sitting or standing. We also know how useful a USB outlet can be for phone charging so all our handsets now feature a charging port.

3

High Quality Desk-Tops

We can bet if you buy a desk-top from one of our competitors you will have little idea what the top will look like or what the quality will be. At Gostand we exclusively use Egger melamine faced chipboard to manufactuure our desk-tops. The edging is also from another German company, Rehau, and we use very expensive laser edgebanding machines from yet another German company to fix the edgeband to the desk-top. All this means when you unpackage your desk you should be looking at a matt, well finished top with great edging.

4

Heavy Duty Feet

If you think foot weight and design is unimportant on a standing desk then think again. Foot weight and strength are vital to anchor the desk to the floor and to inhibit floor level movement which is then amplified at desk-top level. So if you are buying a standing desk look at the foot constuction and think is it well designed and does it look expensive and robust.
